President al-Sharaa holds phone call with Saudi crown prince on regional developments
President Ahmad al‑Sharaa held a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman

Damascus, Feb. 28 (SANA) President Ahmad al‑Sharaa held a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to discuss the latest regional developments, including the Iranian bombardment and its repercussions on security and stability.

During the call, President al-Sharaa affirmed Syria’s keenness on Arab solidarity and enhancing joint coordination to confront current challenges, stressing that the Syrian Arab Republic stands alongside Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people.

He reiterated Syria’s firm rejection of any violation of the sovereignty of Arab states or actions that undermine their security and stability.

For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed appreciation for Syria’s position, praising the brotherly relations between the two countries.
