Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise, yet remain lower than average from 2 to 4 degrees as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general; some scattered clouds appear.
The Department warned against the formation of ice in the mountains and frost and fog in most inland areas.
The winds will be northwestern of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 10/00, Daraa 08/-1, Homs 08/-1, Hama 10/00, Lattakia 13/02, Aleppo 11/00 and Deir Ezzor 13/01.
