Damascus, SANA-Temperatures to drop, yet remain above average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by southwestern wet air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general to become cloudy in the afternoon; rain showers are expected in various areas across the country.
The winds will be western to southern of moderate speed and the sea waves will be moderate to high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 14/02, Daraa 15/03, Homs 11/02, Hama 12/01 Lattakia 17/10, Aleppo 11/02 and Deir Ezzor 17/04.
