Muscat, SANA – Syria’s military football team topped Group D with 7 points after drawing with its Egyptian counterpart 0 – 0 within the World Military Cup Football Championship held in Oman.
In the quarterfinals, the Syrian team will meet its German counterpart which came second in Group B, while Egypt will face Algeria in the same round.
Syria’s military football team beat both Canada (3-1)and Poland (1-0) and tied 0–0 with Egypt while the Egyptian counterpart scored 5 points for a win and two draws.
