Madrid, SANA- The Syrian-Spanish Businessmen Association and the European Solidarity Front for Syria appreciated the stances of the Russian leadership and people in support of Syria in its war against terrorism.
In a joint statement handed to the Russian Embassy in Madrid, the Association and the Front hailed the support provided by Russia to Syria in its war against the Takfiri terrorist organizations which are backed by international forces, on top the US, Turkey and the Gulf states with the aim of undermining the Syrian state and its institutions and changing the map of the region serving their interests.
Press Secretary at Russian Embassy in Madrid Vasily Nioradze affirmed that his country will continue to support Syria in the face of the brutal and unethical terrorist war launched against it.
Nioradze indicated that the dirty media campaign launched against Syria over the past few years is used again in an attempt to distort the role played by Russia and its military forces in its war side by side with the Syrian Arab Army against the international terrorism in an attempt to instigate the international public opinion against Russia and to impose more sanctions on it, and to undermine its role in the international arena.
