Army continues operations against Takfiri terrorists in different area, inflicts heavy losses upon them

Provinces, SANA- Army and Armed forces units, backed by the army air force, on Sunday continued to launch wide-scaled military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the arms and personnel.

Hama

Army units, in cooperation with allied forces, established control over Karah, Karah western farms, the train station and al-Kabarya in the northern countryside of Hama.

The source added that army units killed a large number of terrorists and destroyed a number of their vehicles, some of them are armored while others are equipped with heavy machineguns.

The Syrian army air force destroyed gatherings and fortifications of terrorist organizations affiliated to the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” in a number of villages and towns in the northern countryside of Hama central province.

A military source told SANA that the army air force carried out intensive sorties on gatherings and positions of the terrorist organizations in Mourek, Taibet al-Imam, Souran, Atshan and al-Latamina.

The source added that armored vehicles and positions of the terrorist organizations were destroyed in the sorties and a large number of terrorists were killed and injured.

Later, a military source told SANA that the Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles used by terrorist groups including armored vehicles in Souran, Morek, Tibet al-Imam, al-Latamneh, and Kafr Zeta in Hama province’s northern countryside.

Homs 

Two of Jabhat al-Nusra commanders were killed and many vehicles and positions belonging to the Takfiri terrorist organizations were destroyed in airstrikes carried out by the Syrian army air force against their positions in Homs countryside.

SANA reporter in Homs said that the airstrikes targeted Jabhat al-Nusra positions in the area of Ez Eddin in the northern countryside, destroying 5 of the terrorists’ vehicles and killing two commanders of Jabhat al-Nusra who are terrorists Mohammad Mounir Dabbous and Rakan Abu Abdu al-Homs.

Terrorists Waleed al-Issa, Ali al-Boqa’e and Ahmad Bo Homam were also killed in the airstrikes.

Meanwhile, the army’s air force destroyed fortifications and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of Deir Foul and al-Farhanieh, 12 km to the north of Homs City.

The air force also carried out sorties against gatherings and positions of the ISIS terrorists in al-Talila Reserve and to the northeast of the silos in the countryside of Palmyra, destroying a number of vehicles and killing scores of terrorists.

An army unit destroyed terrorists’ dens to the southwest of Jabal Khanzir, the areas of al-Dabour and al-Deik, Kafr Laha village, Tal Thahab, Abu al-Anz Farms and Um Sahrij in the countryside of Homs.

Later, a military source said that the Syrian Air Force destroyed vehicles used by terrorist groups in Talbiseh, al-Zafaraneh, Shaer field and its surroundings, and north of al-Sawwaneh hill in Homs countryside.

Idleb

The Syrian army air force launched airstrikes on the gatherings and movements of  terrorist organizations in the towns and villages of Khan Sheikhoun, Saraqeb, al-Tamanaa, Jisr Hish, Farika and Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb countryside, according to military source.

The source said that during the airstrikes number of terrorists were killed, others were injured and a training camp, sites and vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns were destroyed.

Later, a military source said that the Syrian Air Force destroyed bases and vehicles for terrorist organizations in Abdita, al-Ghassaniye, al-Marj al-Akhdar, Udwan, al-Taibat, al-Aliya, Ariha, Ma’aret al-Nu’man, Saraqeb, and Ma’ardabseh in Idleb countryside.

Daraa

Army and Armed Forces units operating in Daraa killed many terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in the northern countryside of Daraa.

SANA’s correspondent said that army units clashed with terrorist groups that tried to attack military positions at the abandoned battalion and its surroundings east of Ibta’a town in the northern countryside.

The correspondent said that the clashes resulted in the terrorists retreating after scores of them were killed and injured, and their weapons and munitions were destroyed, adding that the surviving terrorists fled toward Ibta’a and took their injured cohorts to field hospitals in the province’s western countryside and to Israeli hospitals and Jordan.
