Damascus, SANA – Health Minister Nizar Yazigi discussed on Monday with the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Damascus Jang Myong Ho the prospects of cooperation between the two countries and means to enhance it, mainly in fields related to health.
The Minister affirmed that the health sector in Syria is still providing medical services for citizens for free despite the difficult economic circumstances which were imposed upon Syria due to the war and the systematic terrorist targeting of medical establishments.
Yazigi pointed out that the Syrian people highly appreciate the supportive stances of the DPRK towards Syria in facing the war imposed on it.
For his part, the DPRK Ambassador underlined the strength of relations between the two countries, asserting his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to the Syrian people.
