Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain above average by 2 to 4 degrees as the country is still being affected by the seasonal Indian air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, and very hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert).
The wind will be northwesterly between of low and moderate speed and the sea waves will be of low amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 39/21, Daraa 38/ 19, Homs 33/22, Hama 37/23, Lattakia 33/25, Aleppo 40/22 and Deir Ezzor 44/27.
