Damascus, SANA- The National Youth Party for Justice and Development and a number of the national and social activities and businessmen on Saturday launched a campaign entitled “For You Aleppo” which included cash and in-kind donations at the Doctors Syndicate in Damascus.
Secretary General of the Party Perwin Ibrahim stressed that the Syrians, who spared no efforts to help others even outside Syria, are called to stand by the steadfast people of Aleppo who were displaced by terrorism and shells of hatred.
She called upon all the Syrian expatriates, businessmen, tradesmen and industrialists and all parties, forces and institutions to do their best to help the steadfast Aleppo.
For his part, Syrian Social Nationalist Party politburo member Tareq al-Ahmed warned against exploiting the humanitarian issue in Syria politically, underlining the importance of launching an initiative for helping Aleppo and other cities and areas which are in need for help.
Al-Ahmed called for finding a mechanism for the expatriates to contribute to the relief process in Syria.
In turn, Head of the Syrian expatriates delegation “Warsaw Gathering” Nabil al-Malazi, who is currently paying a visit to Syria, stressed willingness to participate in the initiative, expressing confidence that Syria will triumph over its enemies thanks to the sacrifices and heroism of the Syrian army and the unity of the Syrian people.
