Syria, Belarus discuss ways of establishing investment projects in Hasya industrial city

Homs, SANA- Homs Governor Tala al-Barazi discussed on Sunday with the Belarusian Ambassador in Damascus Alexander Ponomarev the mechanisms of enhancing industrial cooperation between Syria and Belarus and ways of establishing investment projects in the industrial city in Hasya.

Al-Barazi asserted the Syrian government’s keenness to cooperate with all friendly countries in the field of investment and to contribute to the reconstruction process, hailing the Syrian- Belarusian cooperation which is witnessing a positive development on all levels.

He clarified that the Syrian-Belarusian economic and industrial team seeks to establish a joint industrial project in the industrial area in Hasya as a step towards carrying out more projects in the future.

The Governor stressed the governorate’s readiness to provide the necessary facilities to start different investment projects in Hasya.

For his part, Ponomarev pointed out the importance of activating the cooperation relations between the two countries and standing by Syria in these difficult times.

He expressed his country’s full readiness to contribute to the reconstruction process as the stability and security have been returning to more areas including in Homs.

He made it clear that his visit to Homs came to develop and support the strategic relations between the two countries.

A protocol of cooperation and studying industrial projects in the industrial area in Hasya was signed by the governorates of Homs and Gomel in Belarus during the 13th annual economic conference which was held last month in Gomel with the participation of al-Barazi and a number of Syrian industrialists and businessmen.
