- Quneitra, SANA- An army unit thwarted on Sunday a terrorist attack on the Service neighborhood in al-Baath city in Quneitra province.A local source said in a statement to SANA reporter that terrorist groups, most of which from Jabhat al-Nusra, infiltrated on Sunday afternoon to the neighborhood on the outskirts of al-Baath city.
An army unit in cooperation with the popular defense group confronted the terrorist group and a number of terrorists had been killed or injured.
Meanwhile, Takfiri groups in al-Hameediyeh and al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh villages targeted with heavy machine guns the residential neighborhoods in al-Baath city and Khan Arnabeh town.
The attack caused huge material damage to a number of houses and infrastructure in the city without any casualties among civilians.
