Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to drop but remain 1 to 4 degrees above the average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to cloudy in general and the weather will be misty and dusty in the eastern areas which a chance of rain showers over the coastal heights and al-Jazeera area.
The wind will be northwesterly of light to moderate speed and active sometimes, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 28/13, Daraa 27/15, Homs 23/12, Hama 25/13, Hasaka 27/14, Lattakia 23/14, Aleppo 26/13 and Deir Ezzor 30/15.
