Damascus, SANA – Temperatures drop slightly but remain 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and rain showers are expected over the southwestern and coastal areas.
The winds will be southeasterly of light to medium speed, and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 24/12, Daraa 26/12, Homs 22/12, Hama 23/10, Hasaka 22/09, Lattakia 21/12, Aleppo 20/08 and Deir Ezzor 25/11.
