Expatriates meet Assistant FM & Interior Minister, visit injured security personnel

Damascus, SANA – Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister Ayman Sousan asserted the important role expatriates could play in the process of reconstructing what has been destroyed by terrorists in the homeland.

During meeting a delegation from the Syrian community in Kuwait on Wednesday headed by Dr. Wael Naser, Sousan gave a review of what Syria is being subjected to under the globally-led terrorism war, asserting however the Syrian people’s determination to defeat terrorism and maintain their country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He highlighted the government’s resolve to further encourage reconciliations all across Syria, saying the scope of local reconciliations has been expanded.

For their part, the delegation’s members renewed their will to exert more efforts to reveal the conspiracy against Syria and continue providing all forms of support to their fellow Syrians at home.

In the same context, the delegation met Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar, who asserted that despite the war being waged on Syria, the government remains committed to providing services to Syrians abroad, and that Syria is proud of Syrian expatriates who act as ambassadors to other countries.

The delegation members also visited injured Interior Security Forces personnel at the Police Hospital in Harasta, with the members expressing pride in their homeland and the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army and the Interior Security Forces against terrorism.
