Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to gradually rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected in al-Jazeera area, warning against fog in the mountains and the inland areas in the early morning.
The wind will be southeasterly with a light speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 3 to 7 degrees above average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/06, Daraa 18/06, Homs 17/06, Hama 19/07, Hasaka 14/05, Lattakia 21/11, Aleppo 16/04 and Deir Ezzor 17/07.
