Damascus, SANA- Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest were as follows: 7mm in Homs, 4 mm in Lattakia, and 3.5 mm in Tartous.
The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 3 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers might fall over the eastern and al-Jazeera areas.
The wind will be northwesterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average and skies will be clear with some scattered clouds.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/4, Daraa 16/5, Homs 16/5, Hama 17/4, Hasaka 14/5, Lattakia 19/9, Aleppo 14/3 and Deir Ezzor 17/5.
