Damascus, SANA- Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in several areas across the country over the past 24 hours, the heaviest of which were as follows: 9 mm in Damascus Countryside, 5 mm in Quneitra, 5,4 mm in Tartous and 4 mm in Lattakia.
The temperatures will remain lower than average as the country is being affected by a low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology department said in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general and it will become cloudy sometimes as local rain showers are expected over different areas across the country.
The wind will be eastern to southeastern with a light and to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperature degrees in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 11/04, Daraa 13/04, Homs 10/05, Hama 14/06, Hasaka 15/05, Lattakia 19/12, Aleppo 12/05 and Deir Ezzor 16/06.
On Sunday, the temperatures will slightly rise to become around average as the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and frost is expected in the inland areas.
