Syria participates in first Arab Regional Meeting on Education 2030

Cairo, SANA – A Syrian delegation is participating in the first Arab Regional Meeting on Education 2030 which kicked off on Tuesday in the Egyptian capital Cairo.

Held under the motto “Towards Collective Action in Achieving Education 2030 Goal in the Arab Region”, the two-day meeting is organized in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

It aims at highlighting the connection between the Sustainable Development Goals and the centrality of education in sustainable development and most importantly discussing and agreeing on operationalizing the Agenda for Sustainable Development in the region, particularly in relation to the prospects of education by 2030.

The Syrian delegation includes Assistant Education Minister Farah al-Mutleq, MP Abdulsalam al-Dahmoush and Director General of the Regional Center for Early Childhood Development Kifah Haddad.
