270 wanted persons have their legal status settled

Damascus, SANA-In the framework of national reconciliations and the continuous government measures to help the people who were involved in the current events in Syria, Justice Ministry settled on Sunday the legal statues of 270 arrested persons from all provinces, mainly Damascus, Hama and Homs.

Justice Minister Dr. Najm al-Ahmad said in a statement that this step aims at enhancing national reconciliations and moving forward to restore stability and security to all Syrian areas.

Al-Ahmad pointed out that Syria is currently moving towards eradicating terrorism, adding that Syria is determined to combat terrorism.

The number of wanted persons who turned themselves in to authorities in the past few months has increased markedly.
