Aleppo, SANA- Iran’s Ambassador in Damascus Mohammad Reza Rauf Sheibani reiterated on Wednesday his country’s “full support” to Syria, affirming that Iran stands in the same trench with Syria against the barbaric Takfiri terrorism and its backers.
Ambassador Sheibani, meeting Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan al-Olabi, added that “The support provided by his country to Syria comes as a token of deep thanks for Syria’s principled stances in support of the Iranian Islamic Revolution since its beginning.”
He hailed the brotherly relations binding the two countries and peoples, expressing keenness on enhancing and consolidating these relations in all domains.
The Ambassador shed light on the steadfastness and the heroism of Aleppo locals in the face of terrorism, expressing full confidence that Syria will overcome terrorism soon.
He congratulated the Syrian people, Government and leadership for the achieved successive military victories against terrorism.
For his part, Governor al-Olabi hailed Iran’s stances in support of Syria against terrorism, stressing that Syria has not changed its national stances as it has remained a part and parcel of the resistance axis despite of the fierce terrorist war launched against it by the imperialistic and colonial countries.
He added that Syria today is continuing its battel against terrorism thanks to the heroism of its army, the resilience of its people and the support of the friendly countries.
During the meeting, the two sides also exchanged visions and ideas on enhancing bilateral relations, affirming that terrorism will be defeated and the right must win.
