Damascus, SANA – President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday issued decree no. 214 for 2015, setting Saturday September 19th, 2015 as the date for holding legislative elections to fill vacancies in a number of constituencies.

The elections will be held for 10 vacancies in 8 constituencies, with two vacancies for each of the Damascus and Aleppo constituencies, and one for each of the Damascus Countryside, Homs, Raqqa, Hasaka, Daraa, and Quneitra constituencies.
