Provinces, SANA – Eight civilians including five women and a child were killed on Tuesday and 54 others were injured in attacks with rocket shells fired by terrorists on residential neighborhoods in Daraa City.
A source in Daraa province told SANA reporter that terrorists positioned in the neighborhood of al-Nazhin Camp and al-Nu’aima town targeted the surroundings of the governmental compound and neighborhoods of Shamal al-Khat, al-Kashef and al-Matar with rocket shells, claiming the lives of eight civilians and injuring 54 others, in addition to causing material damages in the citizens’ houses and properties.
Director of Health in Daraa Dr. Abdelwadoud al-Homsi said that women and children were among the injured who were taken to Daraa National Hospital and the polyclinics building to be treated.
Terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra, the so-called “Falloujat Horan” and other terrorist organizations are active in the towns of al-Nu’aima and al-Yadouda, and they target residential areas and civilians in Daraa City with rocket shells.
Terrorists’ roadside bombs kill two civilians in Sweida countryside
In a relevant context, two civilians were killed in the blast of 3 explosive devices planted by terrorists on the side of the road linking the villages of al-Oreiqa and Dama in the northwestern countryside of the neighboring Sweida province.
A source in the province told SANA on Tuesday that three roadside bombs went off as a tractor passed on the road where they placed, killing a man and a woman who were on their way to their field.
A civilian killed, two others injured in a terrorist attack in Homs
A civilian was killed and two others were injured in a terrorist attack with two rocket shells that hit residential neighborhoods in Homs.
A police source told SANA that two rocket shells, fired by terrorists, fell near Homs great Hotel and Mafrak al-Mukhaiam on Sham road, setting a fire to a private car and killing its driver.
22 civilians injured in a terrorist rocket attack in Aleppo city
Meanwhile, a new terrorist rocket attack took place in Saadallah al-Jabiri Square in Aleppo city, leaving 22 civilians injured.
A source at Aleppo Governorate told SANA that terrorists positioned in Bustan al-Qassr fired rockets on Saadallah al-Jabiri Square and the area surrounding the Municipality Palace’s building in central Aleppo city.
Around 22 people were injured, and were taken to al-Razi Hospital, the source said.
In August 6th, eight civilians were injured by rocket shells that fell in the outskirts of Salah Eddin neighborhood in Aleppo city.
A terrorist mortar attack in Harasta leaves two civilians injured
The terrorist organizations also targeted Harasta suburb, located near Damascus, with several mortar shells , injuring two civilians.
SANA reporter quoted a source at the Police Command as saying that three shells fell in various areas in the suburb, with two of them hitting near the vegetables market and the Religious Education School.
The attack also caused material damage to the citizens’ properties.
