Santiago, SANA – The official draw of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Chile 2015 placed the Syrian national team, the only Arab team participating in the championship, in Group 6 along with the teams of France, Paraguay and New Zealand.
The competitions will be held in 8 different cities in Chile in the period between October 17th and November 8th .
The Syrian team had qualified for the championship after reaching the semi-finals of Asia Cup, held in Thailand last year.
Syria’s participation would be the second after the 2007 World Cup Championship held in South Korea back in 2007, where Syria reached the round 16 but lost the game to the UK.

Group C: Australia, Germany, Mexico, Argentina
Group D: Belgium, Mali, Honduras, Ecuador
