Some 1820 food packages distributed to displaced families in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA- Some 1,820 food baskets were distributed to a number of families in Hasaka, which embrace people with special needs and orphans, who have been displaced from al- Derbasiyeh and Amouda towns.

The aid was sponsored by al-Mawada Charity Association in Hasaka.

Chairman of the association Saad Salou told SANA that the association had allocated 1000 food packages to the families of Amouda and 820 others to the families in need in al-Derbasiyeh

Last month, the association, which has recently opened bureaus affiliated to it in the two towns, distributed 1,660 food packages for the families of Tal Barrak and its countryside who were displaced due to the terrorist acts.

Last April, the association distributed amounts of clothes allocated to the orphans and handicapped kids of Tal Barrak who were staying at the make-shift centers in the province.
