Al-Sweida, SANA, Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar said Sunday al-Sweida city has offered martyrs and sacrifices, like many other cities, in order to preserve Syria sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Minister, meeting dignitaries of the al-Sweida in the presence of Governor Atef al-Nadaf, added that the city sent a message to the whole world, through presidential elections, that the Syrian people would never allow enemies to destabilize their country or target national unity.
Later, al-Shaar visited Sheiks of Muslims al- Muahideen Hikmat al-Hajri, Yousef Jarbou and Hamoud al-Hinawi who affirmed that President Bashar al-Assad winning in elections was a victory for Homeland in its war against terrorism and Takfiri terrorists.
Meeting police officers and cadres, the Minister said they are main supporter of the Army against terrorism, calling them to perform their duties in a good way, protect citizens, boost and consolidate the law authority.
