Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, on the occasion of the Sultanate’s 54th National Day.
In his cable, President al-Assad expressed sincere congratulations, wishing His Majesty a good health and steady progress and prosperity for the brotherly people of Oman.
On this occasion, President al-Assad stressed Syria’s great and permanent keenness to strengthen the solid brotherly relations binding Syria and Oman, and the joint work to translate these relations into a prosperous and effective bilateral cooperation that achieves the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
President al-Assad praised the credibility and balance of Omani policy, which has made the Sultanate an important hub for consultation and coordination on various issues and challenges facing our Arab region and its peoples.
