Emirati aid plane for those coming from Lebanon arrives at Damascus Airport

Damascus, SANA- An Emirati aid plane arrived Sunday at Damascus International Airport carrying a new shipment of humanitarian aid for those arriving from Lebanon, amounting to more than twenty tons of relief and health supplies.

This is the fifth plane to arrive in Syria as part of the air bridge from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to deliver aid to those arriving from Lebanon in the framework of the UAE’s humanitarian efforts to help Lebanese brothers arriving and Syrians returning from Lebanon as a result of the Israeli aggression.

During this week, according to data from the UAE campaign to provide relief to those arriving from Lebanon to Syrian territory, more than 5,000 food baskets weighing 85 tons have been delivered, in addition to 5,000 baskets of winter clothes weighing more than 30 tons, bringing the amount of aid provided by the UAE via the air bridge to more than 697 tons so far.
