Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly marked under the chairmanship of Hammouda Sabbagh, Speaker of the Assembly, the fifty-fourth anniversary of the glorious corrective movement led by the founding leader Hafez al-Assad.
“President Bashar al-Assad has completed the corrective path and approach to achieve qualitative leaps in Syria, and this approach created a state of anxiety to Syria’s enemies regarding the growing Syrian role, which explains the size of the fierce terrorist conspiracy that the country has been exposed to during the past years by the forces of aggression and terrorism, and what followed of unjust blockade and unfair unilateral economic measures that affected all aspects of citizens’ lives ,Sabbagh added.
Sabbagh affirmed the inevitability of the final victory thanks to the cohesion of the Syrian people ,their leadership, and the bravery of Syrian Arab Army, indicating that the insistence on adhering to this honorable approach increases Syria’s ability to overcome hardships and difficulties, especially at this critical stage in the history of the region and the world.
