Sukhumi, SANA-The Republic of Abkhazia strongly condemned Thursday Israeli aggression on Damascus that targeted civilians and infrastructure.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia said in a statement: “The Republic of Abkhazia condemns the attack launched by the Israeli air force on a residential building in Damascus where there are diplomatic missions of several countries, including chancery of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Syrian Arab Republic, which led to the martyrdom of three civilians and the injury of three others.”
The statement stressed that “such unacceptable attacks, which are prohibited under international humanitarian law, must stop immediately,” adding: “We are convinced that these aggressive acts will not lead to peace, but rather bring the war to the Middle East.
