Al-Shammat: Ministry set to provide huge support for displaced citizens in temporary residential centers

Damascus Countryside, SANA-Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Kinda al-Shammat affirmed on Friday that the ministry will provide huge support to improve the living conditions of displaced citizens in temporary residential centers, particularly in al-Sayyida Zeinab city.

During a tour in al-Sayyida Zeinab city, accompanied by the governor of Damascus Countryside Hussein Makhlouf, al-Shammat said that terrorism “will not prevent us from defending of our homeland.”

Al-Shammat and Makhlouf visited houses, hotels and public places where displaced people are living and listened to their tales of suffering due to terrorist acts.

For his part, the governor said that the committee which was set up to follow up on the situation of displaced citizens will seek to solve their problems during their stay in the temporary residential centers.
