Activities of a medical Conference for Syrian Doctors at Homeland and Abroad kick off in Homs

Homs, SANA- Activities of the Wadi Conference for Syrian doctors at homeland and abroad were launched on Thursday, with the participation of doctors from various specialties from Syria, America, France, Britain, Spain and Germany, at Wadi International Private University (WIU) in Homs province.

In his speech, Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, underscored the importance of participation of doctors from Syria and other countries in this important scientific medical conference in order to exchange new theoretical medical knowledge and research.

Minister Ibrahim said that the ministry seeks to improve quality of education and scientific research in a way that would meet the needs of labor market and economic and social development.

The conference actions will last for two days with participating of 40 researchers
