Amman, SANA- Syrian national wrestling team player Mohammad Asad al-Din al-Usta won a bronze medal in the U-23 Asian Wrestling Championship 2024, which is being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Al-Usta won the medal in the Greco-Roman Wrestling competitions for 60 kg weight.
Our national team also participates in the championship within the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions with the wrestler Mohammed Obaid in 72 kg weight category.
It is worth mentioning that the Freestyle Wrestling competitions will begin on Saturday,where the wrestlers Omar Sareem in 125 kg weight category, Anwar Sharfawi in 97 kg weight category, and Ibrahim Tabbaa in 70 kg weight category will represent our national team.
