Palmyra, SANA- Security authorities concerned seized on Saturday large quantities of Captagon pills in Palmyra, that were prepared by terrorist groups in order to smuggling outside the country.
Through security follow-up and careful monitoring of the movements of terrorists in al-Badia region, large quantities of narcotic pills ( Captagon ) were confiscated during an attempt for smuggling through al-Tanf region to one of the neighboring countries, in coordination with other terrorist groups exist in the 55 area occupied by the American forces,”a security source said in a statement to SANA reporter.
Identical media reports have stated more than once over the past two years that trainers affiliated with the USA occupation conducted intensive training on the use of RPG launchers and shoulder-fired missiles for terrorist groups, among them terrorists affiliated with the “ISIS” organization, before transporting them to the Syrian desert to carry out attacks against Syrian Arab Army sites, vital facilities, and population centers deep in the Syrian desert, in addition to creating illegal passages across the border to smuggle various quantities of narcotic substances to neighboring countries.
