Daraa, SANA- Tourist Groups from Romania visited the historic and ancient city of Busra al-Sham, located in Daraa province, about 100 kilometers south of Damascus, the capital.
The tourist group included doctors, engineers, teachers, business managers and retired, expressed their admiration for the beauty and grandeur of the historical and cultural monuments of this city that dates back thousands of years.
The tourists noted that the importance of the city comes from the various civilizations that followed it and highlighted the restoration, maintenance and cleaning work.a
The tourists considered that Busra is one of the most beautiful tourist areas in the East and its monuments have a wonderful value that combines art, literature and religions.
For his part, Head of Busra al-Sham city council, Suleiman al-Shahma, said that all workers in the tourism and service sector are fully prepared to provide all the necessary comforts and security to the delegations arriving in the city.
There is daily work to preserve archaeological sites in order to highlight the cultural image of Syria and the richness of its archaeological and heritage sites, he explained.
