Mikdad extends condolences to Omani people over floods that swept many regions in the Sultanate

Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, extended warm condolence to the Omani people and leadership over victims of floods that swept a number of regions in the brotherly sultanate of Oman.

Mikdad, in a telephone call with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, affirmed that the Syrian people share brothers in Oman that painful event and stand by them.

Al Busaidi, for his part, highly appreciated true feelings of solidarity and sympathy of the Syrian people that reflect the spirit of brotherhood between the two peoples and leaderships.

The two ministers stressed the need for continuing coordination and consultations regarding different issues of mutual concern.
