Mass protests in Cuba and U.S. condemning the Israeli genocide in Gaza

Havana, SANA- Massive demonstration took place Saturday throughout Cuba, in support of the Palestinian people, denouncing the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation authorities in Gaza Strip.

“Palestine is suffering from deep pain, the impunity of those who mercilessly bomb its people is outrageous,” said Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel , via the X-platform.

Diaz-Canel added “today Cuba joins the International Day in support of the Palestinian people, demanding an end to the Israeli genocide in Gaza, no more brutality, no more violations, no more impunity,”

At a similar event in the United States, thousands demonstrated in major American cities including San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Washington and Los Angeles to demand an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The American newspaper Los Angeles Times reported that demonstrators gathered outside the municipal building, waving Palestinian flags and carrying banners reading “Stop genocide,” “Release two million hostages trapped in Gaza,” and “Cease fire now.”
