Riyadh-SANA- President Bashar al-Assad arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Friday evening to participate in the Extraordinary Session of the Arab Summit on Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.
The President was received at King Khalid International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region along with other senior Saudi officials.
The summit, which will be held tomorrow, Saturday, will discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Israeli aggression that the Gaza Strip is experiencing.
On Thursday, the Arab foreign ministers held their preparatory meeting for the Extraordinary Session of the Arab Summit in Riyadh, during which they discussed the draft resolution related to the developments resulting from the ongoing Israeli aggression, which is scheduled to be submitted to the Arab leaders at Saturday summit.
