International community has let the Palestinians down, says Mansour

New York, SANA- The international community based on international law has failed the Palestinian people, who are being subjected to genocide in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation, Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour said, noting that 2.3 million Palestinians are facing death on a daily basis.

Mansour’s remarks came during a discussion session of the UN General Assembly on the report of the International Court of Justice, according to what was reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency.

“The General Assembly is meeting today while the Palestinian people in Gaza are being subjected to bombing, siege, and an inhumane and criminal aggression launched by (Israel) against them, which has led to the martyrdom of entire families,” the Palestinian Diplomat said.

He noted that no place in the world has witnessed the loss of such a huge number of families, children, journalists and United Nations relief workers in such a short period, while the occupation continues to commit massacres with complete impunity.

Mansour added: “There is no justification for the war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide that the Palestinian people are subjected to as they struggle for their survival, including 2.3 million Palestinians who face death on a daily basis.”
