Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned statements by a terrorist from the Israeli entity’s government on the possibility of using nuclear weapons against the people in Gaza Strip.
In the midst of the brutal massacres and the war of extermination of the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, one of the terrorists of the Israeli government threatens to bomb the people of Gaza with atomic weapons, which constitutes a new evidence of the state terrorism exercised by Israel entity and its brutal, extremist racism,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in a statement.
The statement added that these statements confirm what Israel has been hiding for years about its possession of this type of weapons outside international control systems with the support of its allies in the US administration and the colonial West, which poses a serious threat to security, stability and the lives of the peoples of the region.
Syria called on the international community and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA ) to take all measures and assume its responsibilities to destect the Israeli nuclear program and subject this entity to comprehensive safeguards program and control systems for nuclear facilities and programs, the statement concluded.
