Damascus, SANA-the temperatures continue to drop to become below its average from 2 to 4 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain showers in different regions particularly over coastal, northwestern regions and al-Jazeera.
The weather will be cold at night over mountains, warning against the formation of the fog in the central region, Qalamun, Damascus countryside and parts of the south region during the early morning hours, according to the Meteorology Department.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly between low to moderate in speed with active gusts in the central and southern regions and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major cities will be in Damascus 27 / 12, Aleppo26 / 17, Homs22 / 16, Hama27 / 19, Lattakia 29 / 20 and Tartous 29 / 20.
