Damascus, SANA- The University of Damascus and the Syrian Organization for Persons with Disabilities (Aamal) signed Monday a scientific cooperation agreement to provide technical support for Bachelor’s Program in Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The agreement is aimed at ensuring an appropriate degree of education for those working in the field and improving the quality of services provided to people with disabilities.
According to the agreement signed by Rector of the University, Dr. Mohammad Osama al-Jabban and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Aamal, Dr. Ali Turkmani, supervision and teaching in the Bachelor’s program is the responsibility of the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Damascus University.
Members of the teaching staff of the university may participate in supervision and teaching among the specialists authorized from outside the university. The supervision of the Bachelor’s program is subjected to the necessary staff to the provisions of the laws and regulations in force.
