Russian Foreign Ministry: The U.S. does not care about the humanitarian needs of Syrian people

Moscow,SANA- The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the US administration’s decision not to extend the effect of General License 23,on the partial lifting of sanctions on humanitarian aid provided to the Syrian people, after the devastating earthquake that struck Syria on the 6th of last February.

“Washington’s decision confirms the United States’ ignorance of the needs of millions of Syrians,”. It is a decision that must be condemned.” Tass news agency quoted the foreign ministry as saying in a statement.

The statement indicated that this decision confirms once again the United States’ disregard of the humanitarian needs of the Syrian people, and its ignorance of the basic tasks of restoring vital civil infrastructure facilities in Syria.
