Syria expresses its condolences and solidarity with China over Typhoon Doksuri victims

Damascus, SANA- Syria voiced its sincere condolences to the Chinese government and people over the Typhoon Disaster that hit different places in the country, according to a statement by the Foreign and Expatriates ministry.

“Syria extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery along with the return of the missing to their families, and expresses its full confidence that the government and people of China are able to overcome this painful ordeal” the ministry added.

Doksuri is one of the strongest storms to hit China in years and caused widespread flooding over the weekend in the southern province of Fujian, driving hundreds of thousands of people from their homes.
