Indian monsoon depressions continue to affect the region

Damascus, SANA- As the country is affected by the Indian monsoon depressions accompanied by western subtropical air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere, temperatures continue to rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average.

Meteorological Department said in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot, skies will be clear and misty in general in the northern, eastern and al-Jazeera regions, meanwhile in the other regions, temperatures will be from 2 to 3 degrees above average.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with some active gusts that exceeds 50 km/h and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperature in some Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/20, Daraa 36/20, Homs 34/21, Hasaka 45/29, Tartous 33/25, Aleppo 39/23, Deir Ezzor 45/29
