National Earthquake Center records 11 tremors over past 24 hours

Damascus, SANA- National Earthquake Center (NEC) has announced recording 11 tremors ranging between 2.2 and 5.2 magnitudes on the Richter Scales over the past 24 hours.

The center said in a statement on Wednesday that the stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network recorded, from yesterday evening until 6:28 am today, 11 tremors, including 9 tremors in Turkey.

The center noted that two tremors were recorded in northwest of Damascus with a magnitude of 1.8, while the second was with a magnitude of 1.6 southwest of Lattakia.
