Syrian, Cuban meeting to boost bilateral parliamentary relations

Damascus, SANA-The Chairman and members of the Syrian-Cuban Friendship Committee in the People’s Assembly stressed, during their meeting Wednesday with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in Damascus, Luis Mariano Fernandez Rodriguez, the importance of boosting and developing parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries, and exchanging visits and experiences.

For his part, Ambassador Rodriguez stressed the strength of the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the need to boost them in the parliamentary, economic, scientific, cultural and health fields, in a way that achieves the Cuban-Syrian common interests, pointing to the importance of coordinating positions between the two countries in all international forums.
