Minister of Health discusses enhancing cooperation with Nizhny Novgorod Region delegation

Damascus, SANA- Health Minister Hassan al-Ghabbash, discussed with Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region of the Russian Federation, Peter Vitalievich Pannikov, and the accompanying delegation, means of boosting the bilateral cooperation in the health area.

Minister al-Ghabbash highlighted, during the meeting held Thursday, the deep-rooted historical ties between the two friendly countries, stressing the importance of developing cooperation in the field of ophthalmology.

Pannikov, in turn, underlined the keenness of his country to expand relations and share expertise with Syria in all domains.

In a relevant context, Deputy Governor stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in ophthalmology, contact lenses and other medical specialties.
