Syrian- Saudi talks on boosting cooperation in transport sector

Baghdad, SANA- Syria and Saudi Arabia discussed on Saturday means to develop and enhance cooperation in various transport sectors, on the sidelines of the Development Road Conference held in Baghdad.

That came during a meeting that brought together Minister of Transport, Eng. Zuhair Khuzaym and Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Eng. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser.

Khuzaym thanked Saudi Arabia for its stance, as well the efforts exerted to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Syria.

He underlined the importance of working to boost cooperation in the fields of transport between the two brotherly countries.

Minister al-Jasser, for his part, called for boosting cooperation and coordination in the sectors of transport and logistical services between the two countries.

He expressed happiness with Syria’s participation in the Development Road Conference.

The meeting was attended by Syrian ambassador in Baghdad, Satam Al-Dandah
