NEC: 11 weak tremors recorded over past 24 hours

Damascus, SANA-11 earthquakes were recorded over the past hours 24 hours, the National Earthquake Center (NEC) said.

The stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network recorded 11 quakes from Monday evening till Tuesday 04:12 a.m., eight of which were recorded in Turkey with a magnitude ranging between 2.6 and 4.1, and two others in the Mediterranean Sea, the NEC said in a statement.

According to the center, a 1.4 magnitude tremor also was recorded 67 km north of Palmyra.
