China: Syria’s return to Arab League is in line with aspirations of the region’s peoples

Beijing, SANA-The Chinese Foreign Ministry affirmed that Syria’s return to the Arab League is in line with the aspirations of the peoples of the Arab region.

“It is necessary for Washington to stop attempts to undermine the process of dialogue and reconciliation of the countries of the region, as well as stop trying to divide it by creating contradictions. Media outlets quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wen as saying Wednesday.

Wang added: The US side should respect the will of the peoples of the Middle East, and stop practicing coercive diplomacy, pointing out that the peoples of the region in particular should decide the affairs of this region independently.

Wang said that Syria’s return to the League of Arab States is in consistence with the aspirations of the people of the Arab world, and will help the Arab countries to boost their unity, as well as contribute to the promotion of peace and stability in the Arab region.
